Some pets are more adaptable than others. Regardless of your pet's history, coming home with you is likely to be a bit disorienting. A new pet can withdraw, act anxious or nervous, bark or whine excessively when left alone. New environments and people can be upsetting and introductions to children and pets already in your home can be frightening -- causing Fido or Felix to misbehave or cower in a corner.

To help the situation, Farnam Pet Products has introduced a veterinarian-developed, revolutionary pet behavior management line for dogs and cats. Comfort Zone with D.A.P. is a synthetic pheromone that mimics the natural appeasing pheromone released by mother dogs to reassure her puppies. As the Comfort Zone pheromones are released into the environment, a more comfortable atmosphere is created in your home. This helps relieve the tension, and ease the transition for your new pet. Comfort Zone is effective on full grown pets a well as adolescents and helps create a better training situation as your new pet gets to know you better.

Comfort Zone with D.A.P. has been clinically proven to reduce destructive behavior in 86 percent of dogs and excessive barking in 70 percent. Studies show Comfort Zone with Feliway has a 95 percent success rate in reducing or eliminating two of the most common problems in cats – urine marking and vertical scratching. Both lines are available in a spray or plug-in diffuser with refills.
