Do you Have a New Puppy?

How to help your new puppy adapt to his new home

  • Stop him from whining or crying all night
  • Keep him calm in his new surroundings
  • Help him adjust to new sights, sounds, smells, people and pets

A bit of “Mom” to keep him calm

A new environment can be very stressful for a puppy just separated from his mother. Up to now, she’s been his sole source of comfort and security, not only because she has fed and protected him, but also because of a special pheromone she secreted whenever he nursed.  This “Appeasing” Pheromone calms and reassures puppies.

Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® mimics this natural pheromone. It makes the pup feel like Mom’s still right there*.  Puppies have much to learn about living in harmony with their new family. And a calm, happy puppy learns much more readily than a frightened one.

Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® Diffuser

  • Just plug it into the room in which the puppy will spend most of his time, as close to the floor as possible, for constant calming reassurance all day – and all night!
  • If possible, allow pheromone to build up 2 to 3 days before the puppy arrives at his new home
  • Leave in place until the puppy is fully adjusted to his new environment – approximately 2-3 months
